Light at the End
I have been noticing for the past couple of days how the light is beginning to change. Just a little here and there, but changing none the less. The afternoons are starting to lengthen a bit, and the mornings are brightening a bit earlier as I get up with my baby. As I sit here in my chair, watching M playing on the floor happy and content, I am watching the sunrise from my front window. We see so little of this liquid gold here on the West Coast in the winter that a sunny day is definitely a treasure, and I am reassured that winter is passing and spring will arrive on schedule. There is light at the end.

We do treasure our sunshine when we get it ! Mr M is growing fast and oh so cute.
ReplyDeleteI just learned that the beginning of daylight savings time is in only a couple of months. I think I can maybe make it that long. I have missed knit night! We were going to be there last Monday but the roads at our place were pretty icy, and I didn't want to try to drive on them. Maybe next week.
